ALCOHOL POLICY

Alcohol is available for purchase at most events. All guests may be required to show ID to purchase alcohol. Guests are not permitted to bring in alcoholic beverages from outside and may not leave with alcohol purchased within the Manhattan Center. Pursuant to applicable State law, we accept only the following forms of ID:

  • State Government,
  • Commonwealth, Possession or Territory of the US
  • Provincial Government of Canada
  • Valid passport
  • Valid US military ID

 

BAG SEARCHES

The Manhattan Center asks that all guests arrive early and travel light. All persons and bags are subject to search. Oversize bags are prohibited. We provide an area to check bags and other personal belongings. We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged property.

BOX OFFICE

Located on the west of Manhattan Center lobby. Open day of show only starting one hour before door time until one hour after show time.

 

CAMERAS

Video cameras, monopods, tripods, audio recording devices and cameras with professional telephoto or zoom lenses are not permitted inside the Manhattan Center at any time. This policy will be strictly enforced. You may bring in non-professional or disposable cameras. However, for some events, cameras of any time and/or flash photography may be completely prohibited. Any photos taken are for personal use only and may not be sold, licensed or distributed.

CANCELLED/POSTPONED EVENTS

In the rare instance that a Manhattan Center is postponed or cancelled, please visit Ticketmaster.com for more information.

CHILDREN

Please check the profile for the specific event for minimum age requirement prior to your purchase of tickets.

CODE OF CONDUCT
  • Guests shall be respectful of others around them
  • Guests shall avoid blocking the view of other guests
  • Guests shall refrain from using foul/offensive language, fighting, obscene gestures, throwing objects or engaging in other behavior detrimental to the experience of other guests
  • Guests shall not stand on seats or any other building structure
  • Guests shall not block the aisles
  • Guest shall not occupy a seat or remain in an area for which they do not possess a valid ticket and shall provide their ticket upon request
  • As required by the City of New York, guests shall not smoke anywhere in our facilities
  • Guests who consume alcohol beverages shall do so in a responsible manner
  • Guests are encouraged to report inappropriate or offensive behavior to a an Usher, Security Officer, or Guest Experience Representatives
  • Guests shall comply with requests from arena staff regarding arena operational and emergency procedures

The Manhattan Center is conveniently located one block away from Penn Station and is easily accessible by taking the 1,2,3, A,C,E trains to 34th Street/Penn Station.

PATH trains from New Jersey to 33rd Street/Avenue of the Americas.

Via Metro-North take the Shuttle from Grand Central Terminal Times Square and transfer downtown to the 1,2,3 trains to 34th Street/Penn Station.

 

 

DISABLED SERVICES

Accessible Seating Tickets
For most shows, Manhattan Center provides accessible seating on Ticketmaster.com. If accessible seating is not found on Ticketmaster.com, please contact an Event Management Representative at (646) 293-1080.

Companion Tickets
At a minimum, based upon availability, you will be permitted to purchase tickets for you and one guest. You may also purchase tickets based upon availability for additional guests in close proximity to our wheelchair sections.

 

Ticket Refunds
If you are unable to attend an event, please contact Ticketmaster.com to request a refund.

Wheelchairs
For individuals who have limited mobility, we can provide a wheelchair to transport guests from our Main Lobby to your seats. Upon arrival, please ask a Security Officer for assistance. Please note that our staff will not remain with the patron during the event, nor will they allow the guest to remain in the wheelchair for the duration of the event.

Ticket Relocation
If you are a wheelchair user and obtain non-accessible tickets please call the Sales Office at (212) 695-6600 to be relocated (pending availability) to a designated wheelchair location. We do, however, encourage you to utilize our services when purchasing tickets so that we may better assist you.

Temporary Disabilities
If you have a temporary disability/injury please call the Sales Office and we will arrange for you to attend the event in a comfortable and enjoyable manner. When calling, please have the event, date, order number, section, row and seat available.

FACILITY SURCHARGE

A facility surcharge is assessed to help defray the administrative costs of running our Box Office and facility. This $3 charge is included in the ticket price.

FOOD AND BEVERAGES

Outside food and beverages, bottle and containers including water, are not permitted in Manhattan Center at any time. We offer a variety of beverages and snacks for sale. Should you have any medically confirmed metabolic needs, please contact our Sales Office and we will make an accommodation for you. Please be prepared to identify the event, date, order number, section, row and seat available.

HANDOUTS/LEAFLETS/VENDING

The distribution of promotional items, flyers, handbills or printed materials is not permitted without written permission of Manhattan Center. Vending, peddling or product sampling is also prohibited.

HOTELS

Manhattan Center is located in the heart of midtown Manhattan and is easily accessible from all Manhattan hotels via public transportation. We are also affiliated with the Wyndham New Yorker Hotel located less than a block away at 481 Eighth Avenue, New York, NY 10001.

 

 

INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY

Tickets for all events are sold on a no-refund no-exchange basis and are clearly marked on each ticket. Should a decision be made to cancel or postpone an event due to weather, this information will be immediately posted at www.mc34.com as well as our Event Hotline: (646) 293-1080.

LOST AND FOUND

Please email our security desk at lostandfound@mc34.com to inquire about the possible recovery of any lost items. If you lose an item at the event, immediately contact an Usher, Security Officer or Event Management Representative for assistance.

MEDIA ACCESS

Media credentials can be requested by calling the artist’s publicist, record label or promoter. You must be an accredited member of the media on assignment to be considered.

MERCHANDISE

Merchandise stands are typically located in the lobby, the promenade of The Hammerstein Ballroom, or Studio 8 on the 7th Floor. We accept American Express, Visa, MasterCard and Discover. We do not accept checks or money orders.

Parking is available through Manhattan Center’s partner ParkWhiz.

PRE-SALE INFORMATION

Promoters may establish a pre-sale option for some events. During a pre-sale a limited number of tickets are available for sale within a specified amount of time prior to the actual sale of tickets to the general public. Pre-sale does not guarantee ticketing. Pre-sale ticketing is at the discretion of the individual event promoter as is who is allowed to participate.

PROHIBITED ITEMS

Please arrive early and travel light and you may be subject to search. Manhattan Center may utilize metal detecting hand wands, walk-through metal detectors or other devices.

Prohibited items include (but are not limited to):

  • Laser pens
  • Large signs (10" x 14.5"/only soft cardboards or construction paper)
  • Vapes
  • Oversize bags
  • Lighters
  • Gum
  • Umbrellas
  • Magic markers & permanent markers
  • Drugs *(prescriptions must be in original labeled bottle and must have a valid state ID)
  • Weapons of any kind (exceptions may be costume weapons in a soft cardboard or Styrofoam. No large items, decision at discretion of Security Supervisor)
  • No metal items
  • No hard plastic items
  • No wooden items
  • Outside food and/or beverage (including water, cans and bottles)
  • Alcohol
  • Professional cameras
  • Video cameras, monopods, tripods, audio recording devices and SLR cameras with telephoto or zoom lenses
  • You may bring in a disposable, 35mm or digital point-and-shoot camera (with no zoom or telephoto lens) however, for some events, cameras of any type and/or flash photography may be prohibited

RE-ENTRY

For most events at Manhattan Center, all exits are final, even for guests who smoke. Guests are not permitted to leave an event then re-enter the same event. However, on rare occasions this policy may differ and will be printed directly on the ticket.

REFUNDS & EXCHANGES

Manhattan Center has a no refund, no exchange policy on tickets for all events.

SECURITY

Manhattan Center is committed to providing a safe and enjoyable atmosphere. Any guest in need of assistance during an event should seek an Usher, Security Officer, or Event Management Representative.

SMOKING

In compliance with Federal, New York State and New York City regulations, smoking of any type or form is prohibited anywhere inside the Manhattan Center. (For clarification only, this prohibition includes any type of vapes or electronic cigarettes.) This policy is strictly enforced and violation of this regulation is grounds for immediate and final ejection. Manhattan Center will not provide for the retention or storage of any related products or tools so patrons are advised to keep such materials elsewhere or to dispose of them before being permitted to enter.

TICKET RE-SALES

New York law prohibits the resale of tickets within one thousand five hundred feet from Manhattan Center. Unlawful resale can be punishable by fine and/or imprisonment.

TICKET STUBS

Your ticket stub is proof that you are in possession of a valid ticket for the event that you are attending and also designates your seat location. This information will help our staff locate your party in the event you are separated. We may ask to see your ticket stub any time during the event. Keep your stub in the rare occurrence the event is cut short.

PURCHASING TICKETS

Tickets may be purchased at Ticketmaster.com, at a Ticketmaster Outlet, or by calling Ticketmaster at (866) 858-0008/0009.

Tickets purchased through Ticketmaster are subject to Ticketmaster service fees in addition to the cost of the ticket. These sources are the only authorized ticket-selling agents of Manhattan Center.

Please be advised that we cannot vouch for the authenticity of tickets obtained through any other source. Manhattan Center will not honor counterfeit and other invalid tickets.

If you would like to purchase tickets on the day of the event, you may continue to utilize Ticketmaster. As the event start-time approaches, Ticketmaster will no longer sell tickets and you may only purchase tickets in person at Manhattan Center Box Office when Ticketmaster stops selling tickets. The cut-off time when Ticketmaster stops selling tickets varies depending on the event.

Please note tickets for concerts are not sold at Manhattan Center on the first day of sale.

Accepted forms of payment include Cash (no bills over $50), American Express, Visa, MasterCard and Discover are all acceptable forms of payment at our Box Office. We do not accept checks or money orders.

GENERAL ADMISSION

General Admission tickets mean you do not possess a reserved seat. Seating (or floor space) is obtained on a first-come, first-served basis. We ask that you do not save General Admission seats or space for guests that are meeting you.

LOST TICKETS

If you’ve lost your tickets or they have been stolen, please contact the seller for assistance. If you purchased tickets through Ticketmaster (phone/online), please call Ticketmaster Customer Service at (866) 858-0008/0009.

TICKETMASTER CHARGES

A facility surcharge is included in all ticket prices regardless the point of purchase. Ticketmaster surcharges cover the costs of performing the administrative functions necessary to process ticket orders, as well as shipping. You may purchase tickets through Ticketmaster by phone, online or a Ticketmaster Outlet. You may avoid Ticketmaster charges only by purchasing tickets in person at our Box Office.

WILL CALL

The Will Call window is located at the Box Office on the west of end of the Manhattan Center lobby. A valid photo ID and the credit card used for purchase are required to claim your tickets. The Will Call window closes one hour following event start-time.
